Task 48 - 3rd Editing Session (Evidence)

In today's lesson, we decided to work on the soundscape as there were only three of us, and working on sound is probably the most difficult; in terms of editing, adding titles and etc. By the end of today's lesson we have successfully finished the sounds and fitted it into our title sequence so that it is all in sync.

Task 48 - 2nd Editing Session (Evidence)

In todays lesson, we decided to split into small groups to work quicker, and work on different things. 2 people worked on the sounds, 2 people worked on the titles and the other did some blogging to keep updated. By the end of today's lesson, we successfully had all our sounds needed - however not put together yet. We also had our ident and distribution logo's added along with a few titles.

The shots were too fast, needs to be slowed down.
Storyline is not clear enough.
Add sound.

What went well:

Great variety of shots.
Used a lot of locations.
Great camera work (movement from one scene to another).
Good match cutting in editing.

In today's lesson we decided to carry on with the process of actually editing and putting scenes together. This was a success as after 2 editing lessons - we have completed it all.

Task 46 - 3rd Day Of Filming (Evidence)

We went to central London and filmed scenes showing our protagonist dressed in smart clothes. We had one of our friends play the role of a beggar.

We went to central London so that we could add an establishing shot and reveal the location of our film. This anchors the location as well as adding a nice background and sunset to amplify the dramatic aspect of the scene.

Task 46 - 2nd Day Of Filming (Evidence)

Today we were filming the scene where our protagonist is begging for money.

During our second filming session we went to one of the busy roads near angel station and filmed a scene where the refuge is begging for money. One of us acted as a pedestrian walking by giving her money so that we could use that scene to add a flashback.

Task 46 - 1st Day Of Filming (Evidence)

During our first day of filming we decided to film the office scene where the refugee visits a council worker and begs for help. This was the easiest scene to film location wise as we stayed in college and turned one of the hallways into an office setting. Moreover, it was a good idea to stay in college so that we would be near our teachers if we needed help with understanding any of the equipment.
