22 Jump Street:
  • Directors
  • Screenwriters
  • Story writer
  • Producers
  • Executive producers
  • Director of photography
  • Production designer
  • Editor
  • Actor names (most famous first)
  • Casting
  • Costume designers
  • Music
  • Music supervision
  • Co – producer
  • Corporations
  • Associations
  • Directors

In both of these title sequences, the director’s name has been displayed for a longer period of time compared to the others. The director’s name and main producer’s names are writing by themselves. However, the rest of the production team have their names grouped together and are on screen for a shorter time. Titles in title sequences are shown in the order of importance. The people who are most recognised by the audience will be presented first as they are one of the central reasons for the films publicity. Other people will get their recognition but at a smaller scale.
For example, when making films there are many people involved however it would take too much time to present everyone’s name so a large majority will be presented in the end title credits of the movie.

The font for the director, producers and famous actors are bigger and bolder than the other titles. The font stands out and makes a slight ‘swoosh’ sound when it appears to attract more attention. This is to make sure that the audience realises what famous people have taken part in making the film. This is targeting the audience’s preferences as certain actors/directors are known for making a certain type of genre. For example, if you see Kevin Hart in a movie you know that it will be a comedy or if you see Tom Cruise you know that the movie will be action.
