24. Individual Idea

MY INDIVIDUAL IDEA

The genre is drama which is based on true events, so the audience can take it seriously and reflect on it. The idea is inspired by the sorrowful events happening in countries such as Syria and many more. The events where people including children are killed, where people have no human rights and where people are torn apart from their families.

The storyline involves a young woman with a tragic past who is stable in the present. So, there would be flashbacks of her past as she sees a homeless person in an area full of business people, people from higher class. She feels sympathy towards the person and so, she spends the entire day with the homeless person. The way this is presented is by showing the clock going fast forward as well as what they are doing together in between.

The characters are:

The main woman: The young woman with a tragic past who gets flashbacks of it.
The homeless person: The person that reminds the young woman of her tragic past and gets help from her.
The mother: The mother of the main woman is shown in her flashback where it just shows their hands being separated.

The types of title sequences to use:

• Titles over moving images
• Simple bold fonts
• Slow transitioning fades
• Dramatic music in the background with ambient sounds such as crowds
