Task 36 - PITCH 7&8: Mise-en-scene - Anika Rahman

MISE-EN-SCENE

LOCATION:

The location that we are going to use is going to be a dark gloomy area with dull buildings so, that we can match the location to the suffering countries as much as we can as possible. Those gloomy areas will be used for the flashbacks the main character has of her past. As she gets flashbacks of her past, we will film in a cheap area where there are unattractive buildings.

Perhaps, an area like this. 

And for the present, before she gets her flashbacks and in between of her flashbacks, the character will be in Central London which is a very busy area. The character will walk through an area in Central London while she sees a homeless person just sitting on the floor and people ignoring her. 

Perhaps an area like this where business people walk past

SETTING:

The setting of our film will start from the main character walking along the same street that the homeless person is sitting and she continues to walk until she sees the homeless person and from then her flashbacks begin to appear. 

PROPS & COSTUMES:-

The homeless person will have a baggy dirty t-shirt on, a blanket and will look scruffy to make it clear to the audience that they're homeless. The businesswoman that we see in one of the main character's flashback will be dressed in a suit and maybe, have a suitcase on her to make it clear that she is a business woman.
