Task 19 - Practical remake activity (evidence of filming and editing)

Evidence of filming

When filming for our practical remake we had to film the same scenes more than once. This is so that if we don’t completely love one scene we could use another. There were many people on the streets that kept getting in the way so we had to keep on filming until we got a clear shot. Moreover, we had filmed some scenes a lot of times so that we could show the same things from different angles and add match cutting into our work.

Evidence of editing

This is the layout of Adobe Premier before we had imported any of our scenes. There are four separate boxes each used to make the editing simpler. The box on the top left is used to view and edit each shot and the top right shows the final cut of our work. The bottom left is where each of our shots are imported to and kept safe and the bottom right is where we merge each scene together to create our opening.

This image shows me adding titles into our work and shows the layout of our work. You can clearly see that we have made the titles ourselves and that we had to make a lot of titles to make it look like a real title sequence.

This screenshot shows the different shots that we have places together and the transitions added at the start and the end of each shot. It also shows that we have left blank spaces for dramatic effect.

This clearly shows that we used the video effects button and video transition button to make our work better. It shows our understanding of the software and how we are learning to edit our work.
