Risk assessment
In this blog I will identify any risks that we may come
across when filming at, and travelling to, our locations with some possible
solutions to prevent risks.
Mark out of five for its likelihood:
1= very unlikely
5= very likely
Some potential risks are:
- Bad weather – check the weather before we leave home and make sure we have other work to do if we have to stay indoors. - 5
- Broken/damaged equipment – be careful and responsible, don’t do anything that you know you shouldn’t. Don’t be reckless be extra careful when handling equipment.- 4
- Thieves – look after the equipment and don’t leave anything unattended. Make sure to check what we have with us when travelling from one place to another. - 4
- Crowded place – be respectful and patient as many other people will be there. Don’t shame your school or cause trouble. Try to stay out of other people’s way.- 5
- Actors might not show up – only work with people that we can trust and rely on and if someone doesn’t show up we should have other tasks to complete within that time or simply replace them. - 4
- Delays/traffic – make sure to plan our journeys so that we don’t waste time. - 4
- It gets dark quickly – we will need to start filming early in the morning while the sun is still out. - 2
