Genre Shortlist
We considered Action because:
- Fast-paced scenes keep the audience interested in the film as they create a tense atmosphere.
- The soundscape is full of different types of rigid scores that suit the the theme of the film.
- They tend to involve many camera angles that make the scenes look realistic and proffesional.
As for Horror, we thought of this because:
- It does not have to involve many actors, the props can be emphasised by a close-up camera angle which hints at the genre for the audience. This is also good as actors may not be convincing enough throughout the opening title sequence which makes the film seem unproffesional.
- The soundscape is easier to create as we can easily recreate some Foley sounds such as screams, screeching noises, etc.
