Task 17 - Genre shortlist

3 genres that I might choose to produce my own title sequence

Horror:

Firstly, my group and I had decided to make a title sequence for a horror movie. This is because we would not need to have to introduce a character into the move and we could just show objects and places. We would have just shown someone’s hands or feet – never the full body, to create suspense. However, we then found out that a majority of our class had chosen to do horror we decided to change our idea.

Action:
Next, we had decided to make an action title sequence. This is because we would have liked to use a lot of special effect and focus on our editing more than filming. We had decided to have a scene with characters fighting but soon realised that it would be difficult to make the fighting believable and that we would need adult actors rather than teenagers. This is because action films are usually based on adults.

Drama:

Finally, we had chosen to have our title sequence based on the genre Drama. This is because this was a genre that everyone in my group liked and was interested by. Everyone had many ideas for this genre and furthermore, teenagers could be used as actors. However, this genre is not as popular as our other choices and other people our age may not enjoy it.
