Sound Analysis 

Duality

In the first 10 seconds after the production title is shown, we hear a recurring, scary score which is followed by a sound of drones which become louder as the house is shown. We then hear a diegetic sound of the fireplace.  After there is a low Foley sound of a cat purring which is then followed by the ambient sound of the clock ticking. We also hear another Foley sound of heavy breathing.  After the cup is shown we hear a diegetic sound of the tea spilling.  We then hear another diegetic sound of the girl crying as the music stops. In the end as the girl is being dragged away we hear Foley sounds of what seems to be the wind blowing and loud thunder.

Shutter

In the opening scene there is a non-diegetic score which seems to be sinister which is followed by a Foley sound of the camera shutter as the car plate is shown. The sound motif of the music gets lower throughout the scene. We then hear more Foley sounds on the camera shutter followed by the diegetic sound of people talking coming from the walkie-talkie which seems to be edited to a high frequency. The scene ends with one more Foley sound of the camera shutter along with non-diegetic sounds of recurring drones.
